I am a final year Civil Engineering student at the University of the Witwatersrand. I am eager to learn and expand my civil engineering knowledge. I would be an ideal candidate due to my indispensable problem-solving knowledge. My passion for civil engineering, namely structural engineering, stems from visiting several locations as a child and being fascinated with the designs of buildings. My interests in engineering grew further when I took Engineering Graphics and Design in school, especially the civil component. Being mathematically minded I decided that civil engineering was what I most passionate about. As a final year Civil Engineering Student, I have extensive knowledge on problem solving and critically assessing problems in a logical manner. During vacation work I have been exposed to working in various teams and independently and have worked well in both environments. I am open to new experiences and learning from it. I am driven and I am able to work long hours to achieve the best possible outcome. I am excited to finally be applying the knowledge I have gained to the real world and to expand on this knowledge. I want to grow and become a well-adjusted engineer. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Yashna Chottu
