Heritage consultant, Archaeologist, Geographer with a degree in archaeology and geography from Wits University and an Honours Degree in archaeology with a focus on geoarchaeology. Most recently my work has been as a Heritage consultant, working with an Architect on historic buildings and smaller heritage structures in the Gauteng Province. I have been exposed to and have worked with different kinds of heritage, starting from the higher (Grade I heritage sites) to the lower (Grade IIIC) heritage. As a result of my keen interest in archaeology, geography and anthropology, I particularly specialize in heritage, the environment and social studies. Exposure to these disciplines has allowed me experience in both GIS and Remote sensing, which have been utilized in my heritage work. My passion is especially for preservation, conservation and sustainability while supporting growth and expansion. I strongly believe expansion and development should also support heritage preservation. My specialization and interests include a broad spectrum of sub-disciplines within both archaeology, and geography.
