I have one year experience as a candidate attorney and my duties included but were not limited to opinion writing, legal research, briefing Counsel, drafting agreements and pleadings and, consulting with clients etc. In addition to the above, I also worked as a legal assistant at a multinational company which specializes in engineering & mining. My duties were mostly focused on providing direct general administrative support to the senior legal and compliance manager which also meant that I was responsible for reviewing legal agreements, liaising with vendors, managing the report database, and assisting with risk and compliance matters. Furthermore, I successfully completed practical legal training (PLT) with the school for legal education wherein I was awarded with a trial advocacy certificate in collaboration with the Black Lawyers Association
