Willem stumbled into a GIS career as a Townplanner doing landuse-transport related research at the CSIR.  After 10 years in the research community he started MandalaGIS. Still a planner at heart, he always applies geo-design from an integrated, multi-sectoral perspective. Willem really likes a good map with a good story.
