I am a highly motivated, progress-focused, and SACNASP-registered geoscientist with a long-standing background in the mining industry and intermediate exposure in exploration and research geology. I have vast experience in mining geology and able to run day-to-day shaft operations, ensuring the extraction of precise reef/seam horizons and constantly meeting the shaft grade target. Experienced in field and underground mapping, exploration of commodities such as gold, coal and PGEs in multi-cultural environments such as South Africa, Angola, Namibia, and Mozambique. Highest level of responsibility includes the management of drilling contractors, underground geologists, shaft samplers, and grade controllers. I can manage geological databases using Microsoft Office and various geological software such as Geographic Information System (GIS), ScanIT, Intellicore, Micromine, Cadsmine, DHLogger and Fusion. I have strong analytical skills and the ability to collect, evaluate, and interpret (micro-XRF, handheld-XRF, conventional laboratory-based XRF, SEM-EDS, XRD, hyperspectral imaging, digital core logging, and a petrographic microscope) and disseminate large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy. I am a passionate networker, a good initiator and negotiator, a team player, and a decisive individual.
