My name is Warren Dovey and I am an experienced content developer, specialising in conceptualising and developing learning programs which work seamlessly on multiple devices who has been exposed to multiple technologies and training environments. I have an innate curiosity and a keen interest in evolving technologies and methodologies. I am firmly committed to the ethos of lifelong learning and welcome any challenge and opportunity to improve my skillset and understanding of the industry. I have worked for several multinationals and have had hands on experience in the entire Lifecyle and development of learning content that is deployed on internal LMS systems or I have been tasked with setting up and deploying a learning platform for external clients. I have extensive experience with all the major software applications and have been exposed to many facets of the industry, from conceptualisation and ideation to development and final product. I am interested in the evolving nature of new technologies such as the role data plays in an industry as well as the opportunities offered through the use of AI, machine learning, Robotics, VR & AR as well as all the opportunities 5G and the IOT will have on training development and the business industry as a whole. I have been involved for several years in creating eLearning and instructional design content for various organizations. I am a qualified Assessor and Multimedia Engineer. Added to that I have facilitated many adult training courses and understand and have had experience with unit standards and the structure that SAQA operates in. I am truly passionate about blended learning that incorporates various video elements and rich interactive media as well as sound design and utilizing 2D and 3D animation. I have had a number of years’ experience with various eLearning software authoring packages (Captivate, Articulate and Microsoft power point) as well as extensive experience using the adobe creative suite (In-design, illustrator and flash as well the editing package adobe premiere pro) I am in the process of completing my diploma certification in HTML & HTML5 as well as CSS. I’ve the ability to develop instructional content that is both engaging and relevant, I create a scenario where learners are compelled to learn and hold onto that information. I believe learning and education is crucial to any organizations success and I am truly passionate about ways in which to implement solutions more effectively. I have Also having been involved with SAQA and their unit standards I am fully aware of outcomes-based training and have created relevant assessment techniques for learners in the past. I have previously worked on MTNs next Oracle deployment in Africa, the position required me to develop a training program covering the entire EAM ecosystem form Oracle EBS modules to Primavera the program managers Oracle tool.
