I would like to apply for the position of Registered nurse. am a registered nurse from South Africa Johannesburg, I completed my course in 2013 December it was a four-year diploma course that started in 2010 January they call it the comprehensive nursing course that includes general nursing, midwifery, psychiatric, and community health nursing. Upon completion of the course, I went on to do my community services at Helen Joseph hospital where I was exposed to clinical rotation in different disciplines such as (Trauma, medical and surgical wards and high care, infectious disease wards, and burns unit for 2 years. In 2016 I started working at Lacent laboratories as a phlebotomist and in 2018 I was exposed to working for Europ assistance as a case manager for 3 years. I decided to return to bedside nursing and I now work in the medical ICU I have been working in ICU for almost 3 years now. • I am capable of making decisions timeously and taking responsibility for the consequences. • I am capable of recognizing the need for action, considering possible risks and taking responsibility for results • I am able to plan, organize and control my own work environment by setting appropriate priorities and achieving set objectives within a given time frame. • Able to work under pressure and remain calm at all times • Always punctual and well presentable • I have a good understanding of health information structures (ethics) and technology • Analytical, problem-solving, good interpersonal communication, leadership, organization, patience, tolerance, hard worker, and work calm under pressure • I am reliable and committed and I love the work that I do. • Well informed on disciplinary procedures • Able to apply code of conduct as per protocol when necessary • I am well informed on the application of the grievance procedure • I am able to liaise with other stakeholders when it is related to important matters such as coordinating, organizing and i mplementing in or towards the rendering of quality health care service. • Strong ability to communicate effectively utilizing sound judgment, self eagerness, and willingness to learn. I am presently working in ICU as a shift leader and I have trained for the preliminary ICU course of 6 months, I have Bls and my employer has booked me to the ACLS course for March 2023.
