Dear Recruiter, I am writing to you to express my interest in this position. I came across your company and it really piqued my interest. I am a person who loves to help people whether it be in the professional world (e.g. doing tasks that could lift a weight off someone’s shoulders or helping solve issues), or in the outside world (e.g. being the person that allows people to vent or just need some support). From a young age, I was always the person who loved to help people, and this led me to do a bachelor’s degree in human sciences and social services. I then wanted to go further and did my Honours in counselling psychology. I do have a mission to finish this road and eventually do my Master’s in clinical psychology. My working life has consisted of being a nanny, which I absolutely love. I am told I have a good aura and it allows people and babies to feel calm and accepted. I then went on to become a sous chef in a Mexican restaurant, this gave me insight and experience in becoming a people person. Then I was given an opportunity to become a tattoo and piercing wholesale supplier. It is the most fun, intense and rewarding job I have had and still currently have. Becoming a wholesale supplier has taught me so many lessons from building a good client relationship, going out of my way to make a customer happy to admin, social media managing, stock take, ordering overseas and dealing with shipping agents and customs to building a whole business on Takealot that I solely run (from taking the pictures of the items all the way to packing the items and sending them off). I have also always been an organised person but Takealot made my organizational skills turn into OCD. This has worked in my favour 100% of the time and I do believe will be a huge asset to bring into your company. All in all, I do think I could contribute in a great way to your company as well as learn new things. Are you looking for a candidate with? • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel? • A hard worker with determination, precision and some serious organizational skills? • A team player, quick learner and a person who takes pride in what they do? • A patient person but with the mental motto to get things done within or even before their deadlines? If so, then you need to look no further. I am your person and will make 100% sure my words are briskly followed by my actions. Thank you for taking the time to review my resume and cover letter. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Tristan Perrevos
