In my current position as an asset care engineer/specialist my duties range from head of planning office on several sites, development of asset care plans, maintenance planning with an extensive use of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system to ensure optimal plant performance, wherein systems thinking was encouraged. In my previous position, I worked mainly as a maintenance engineer responsible for planning, conceptualizing, coordinating, testing and commissioning of critical engineering projects. I worked in environments that necessitated the importance of safety and a thorough understanding of SANS standards in while performing health/condition monitoring of assets.
