My name is Thanalutchmee Govender. I am a 35-year-old Indian female employed by WSP Industrial as a Mechanical consultant, at their Bryanston office. I have worked with both Industrial and Commercial clients within the Food and Beverage industry for more than 10 years. I provided full scope of engineering services, which cover design concept development, detailed design, tender specification, project management and closeout. For projects for Coca-Cola Beverages, I have designed HVAC system for packaging halls, refrigeration plants for Cold and freezer rooms, mechanical piping services for packaging lines. Mechanical services includes water, 10bar compressed air, 16bar carbon dioxide gas, 10bar saturated steam and condensate piping systems. For projects for Shoprite/Checkers, I have designed HVAC systems for shopping floors and Freon refrigeration plant for refrigeration cabinets, cold and freezer room. I was lead engineer responsible for all work for Gauteng region and I reported directly to Shoprite, Checkers Gauteng divisional manager.
