I am an IT Professional who is very much ‘Hands On’, and am not afraid to roll my sleeves up and get stuck in. The good mix of Retail/Financial/ Banking/Insurance/Public and Private Sector experience I have acquired plus working across various platforms, including SAP and Oracle ERPs, has helped me to understand the complex requirements Stake-holders have. I believe that this has been evidenced in the delivery of my projects/programmes and is borne out by refer-ences and recommendations. Before moving into Project Management, I spent many years as a Developer (Programmer) and Systems Analyst. This experience has given me a particularly good understanding of SDLC and ITIL Methodologies and is invaluable in helping me to view project/programme deliverables from both software development and business perspectives. My projects have all been End-to-End deliveries using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with normal E2E PM re-sponsibilities including Forecasting, Resourcing (managing teams of up to 30 people including offshore and 3rd party sup-pliers) and Budget Management from R10.5million to more than R630million. I have an excellent record for bringing projects to completion on time, within budget and most importantly delivering what my Stakeholders have requested. Stakeholder Management is an extremely important to me as it is an integral part of good Programme/Project Manage-ment and pride myself in the relationships I have established with my Stakeholders. I also have Implementation Manager experience, including Digital Systems implementations. A highlight of my career was securing a Senior Project/Programme Manager role with the Olympic Delivery Authority where I was charged with delivery and implementation of 5 key projects for their Oracle ERP system - I am particularly proud of being a part of the team that helped to make the London 2012 Olympics a reality!
