I am an IT Professional who is very much ‘Hands On’, and am not afraid to roll my sleeves up and get stuck in. The good mix of Retail/Financial/ Banking/Insurance/Public and Private Sector experience I have acquired plus working across various platforms, including SAP and Oracle ERPs, has helped me to understand the complex requirements Stakeholders have. This has been evidenced in the delivery of my projects/programmes and is borne out by references and recommendations. Before moving into Project Management, I spent many years as a Developer (Programmer) and Systems Analyst. This experience has given me a particularly good understanding of SDLC and ITIL Methodologies and is invaluable in helping me to view project/programme deliverables from both software development and business perspectives. I have a good understanding of POPI as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) legislation was introduced during my contract at Lloyds Banking Group and GDPR principles had to be strictly adhered to for all Project/Programme deliverables. (Note: GDPR is UK equivalent of POPI) My projects have all been End-to-End deliveries using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with normal E2E PM responsibilities including Forecasting, Resourcing (managing teams of up to 30 people including offshore and 3rd party suppliers) and Budget Management from R10.5million to more than R630million. I have an excellent record for bringing projects to completion on time, within budget and most importantly delivering what my Stakeholders have requested. Stakeholder Management is extremely important to me as is essential for successful project/programme deliveries and I pride myself in the relationships I establish with my Stakeholders.
