I am a recent graduate from CPUT, holding a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. I did my in-service training at TF Design in Stellenbosch and my duties there were : 3-D Modelling of concepts for clients using Inventor 2017 and AutoCAD. Generating manufacturing drawings for the manufacture and assembly of concepts. Obtaining quotes from suppliers and fabricators. Making out orders for parts, fatseners, pumps, fans, valves etc. Assisting the artisan with the assembly of parts and components. Going to site to help upgrade kilns, install humidification systems, use power tools etc.
