I am a seasoned and experienced employee, manager, leader and visionary with a vast amount of experience in the workplace across 2 continents, in various industries and with a multitude of disciplines. This enabled me to develop not only specific experience, but also a valuable and transferable skill set in any environment. I started my career in the shoe industry as an assistant production manager, managing a sport shoe production floor with an output ranging between 1500 to 2000 units per day. I then moved to computer programming working for IBM in Scotland developing and maintaining the insurance software of their clients. Back in South Africa I was a software consultant for Dimension Data, installing and customising financial software for clients and then moved to Softline Pastel Payroll (now SAGE) where I was a senior support consultant (call centre and onsite) on their HR & Payroll range of products. During the 2008/9 economic problems worldwide I started my own HR & Payroll business where I supported the Pastel Payroll software at clients and also managed an outsourcing bureau rendering a HR & Payroll service to clients. At the end 2012 I moved to George with my family to take up a position in the family business managing a portfolio of commercial buildings as well as my Payroll business, the family business was sold at the end of 2016. Since February 2017 I focused on my HR & Payroll consulting business, I am also working at PKF Auditors as a consultant managing their payroll department for them.
