After completing my studies and obtaining my National Diploma from the Technicon of the Orange Free State, now known as the University of Technology, in 1992, I started my career as a programmer for the Department of Public Works. Since then I have gained extensive experience in a variety of IT disciplines, i.e.: Microsoft Office, SAP FI, SAP Workflow, SAP Payroll, Windows (95, 98, NT, XP, Vista, Windows 7) and Xtime (Skycom) and BES (EOH) Access control. I also have extensive experience in IT Budgeting, Disaster Recovery and Xtime hardware & Software maintenance and support. My experience has now been extended to successfully running and managing a complete IT department of a mine. I am currently responsible for every aspect of the day to day working of the department supervising three persons. As team worker I can cope excellently, but while working on my own I am fully reliable and need no supervision. I have good people skills and can build relations with anybody. Problems I turn into challenges and find solutions.
