I worked in multi – cultural environments including expatriation and managed to adapt easily. The generalist role included but not limited to: Industrial Relations = Disciplinary procedures, Counselling procedures, Conflict management, CCMA representation, Bargaining councils representations(MEIBC, BCCEI), Main agreements, Policy and procedures implementation, Policy Review and update, Interacting /negotiating with various unions and Bargaining councils and development of HR/IR Systems. Training and Development = I have developed training plans (WSP) and reports (ATR) and worked with various seta`s. I am always involved from the beginning i.e Development of job specification, Job advertisement, Placing the advert on various media`s, receive, screening and selection of the suitable candidates for interviews, Arrange interviews, form part of the interview panel, make all necessary references and verifications, make the offer, prepare for the induction, present the induction, prepare the employment contract, negotiate the remunerations, pre-employment screening etc. I even worked with recruitment agencies. Recruitment of expatriate and application of visa, work permits and other related matters. Human Resources Planning and Organization Development = Human Resources planning, Participation at EXCO and OPCO level, Business partnering and assessment tools. Strategy Development = Development of HR strategy in line with the business strategy, implementation and monitoring of the plan. Reporting = Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual HR Reports to various business levels. Reports includes HR, Payroll, Training, Recruitment, Labour, Disciplinary and general. General HR Administration = Creation of staff data management systems, employee assistant programmes, wellness programmes, Socio-Economic Development = Development and implementation of socio economic development plans. Management of project, management of budgets, Development of people, engagement of various stakeholders. Management of staff = My recent position as the HOD involved management of 8 employees (HR and Payroll Officers) in the department. My Most Recent Roles: I am currently unemployed. I was retrenched in November 2016 due to restructuring / downsizing. My Further Development: I pride myself on my commitment to continuing professional development hence my membership to professional organizations to keep abreast with new legislation, industry systems and practises in the HR world. I have attended a variety of leadership courses and Industrial relations courses. I have also studied an Advance Human Resources course with UNISA (Honours equivalent). (Strategic and International Human Resources) My Personal Achievements: I am a strong and confident communicator and negotiator with excellent written and verbal skills.
