I am a motivated “self-starter” with an experience to conduct geo-scientific, technical investigations and participate in multi-disciplinary research projects. I possess sound leadership qualities and communication skills accompanied by the ability to organize, plan and execute projects. A hard working person who is keen to learn new things, adapt easily to new environment and also a team player with networking and presentation skills. The period of studying Geography sparked an interested in climate change effects, which has prompted me to further my studies (Master of Science in Environmental Science) as gateway to Sustainable development & renewable energy research, education and community empowerment programmes. Having completed two qualifications in environmental studies, I have a fair understanding of relevant policies, strategies and research reports such as the National Environmental Management Acts, National Energy Act and the Environmental Sector Skills Plan to mention a few. I also have knowledge of GIS software packages ArcGIS 10.1. I am the former Enactus UFH Project Officer. With my Enactus team we are currently working on many projects including the Water Purifier Project that won the Ford Moto Company C3 Building Sustainable Communities Challenge in 2018. The water purifier is the process of removing undesirable chemicals, biological contaminants, and suspended solids from grey water. We use natural resources to purify grey water into reusable, aiming to help small businesses such as Salon, Laundromats and Carwashes to save water thereby reducing water bills. My love for education and passion for knowledge has triggered me not only acquire qualifications but to fish for knowledge in youth empowerment and community development programs. I am a volunteer for various organisations working towards empowering communities with entrepreneurial, sustainable development and environmental management skills. As a leader advocating for sustainable development and environmental justice, I have worked with Enactus and Keep UFH Green & Clean Club to establish sustainable projects in our communities to achieve the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to create positive impacts in communities. I am currently seeking for entry employment level or an internship in the field of Environmental science and Development studies related opportunities. I currently hold a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Planning and Development studies; Bachelor of Science degree with Geography and Environmental science as majors, GIS and remote sensing. I have gained these skills ISO 14001, Implementation, Management and Identifying, Data analysis, capturing and presentation, EIA, EMPR and EMP and Public Participation through volunteering.
