Sayuri Seeban is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand. She has gained exposure in the following areas:Applied Bioinformatics Genetic and Developmental Biology Virology Bacteriology Plant Pathology Food Safety and Security In her honours year, Sayuri produced a research project with the title: The Identification and Characterisation of African-specific genetic variation within the TLR-9 gene. Through this she gained experience with team work, coding skills and reporting skills. At the University of the Witwatersrand, she was employed as a teaching assistant. Her duties included tutoring and mentoring first year students in a biology laboratory. - She worked as a lab technician in a Plant Pathology laboratory. Duties included cleansing and maintaining lab equipment and preparation of lab procedures. - She earned her Certificate of Competence in Basic First Aid in 2019.
