I graduated with distinction in my 4-year http://www.******.*** in Mechanical Engineering degree (hons) from the University of the Johannesburg. I am currently studying towards my GCC engineering certification and I am writing in June 20202. My academic achievements at the University of the Johannesburg include being amongst the top three final year design projects as well as my project being presented at National conferences. I have received merit certificates from the University for being in the top students in certain courses I have completed over the four years. I have attained scholarships from the University for achieving above a required aggregate at year end. At Anglo American (Jan 2020 – present), I am one of twenty candidates selected out of 11 000 applicants that applied for the inaugural Blast Programme, whereby I am pursuing GCC certification. My tasks mainly involve problem solving and are detailed in my curriculum vitae. Expertise in mining systems, manufacturing and project management. Background in Anglo American Coal and Sibanye Gold mining with in-depth background developing and ensuring compliance of contractor designs and technical evaluations with employers' requirements, site specific requirements and industry best practice. Worked with mine contractors and vendor stakeholders to develop plans to quickly and effectively accomplish project goals. Stayed up-to-date on industry legislation and regulations to maintain constant compliance.
