Rose is a Registered Professional Engineer, Certified Environmental Assessor and Auditor. She acquired hands-on experience from the direct foreign investment projects in Tanzania, in various fields i.e., extractive industries. Moreover, she has participated in various presentations, discussions and short courses to enhance professional and skills in environmental projects design, construction supervision, environmental engineering, management and compliance. Eng. Rose has also engaged or led various environmental projects, which has given her experience on the local and international environmental management requirements such as ISO, WB, ICAO, WHO, Equator Principles and IFC performance standards. She is an experienced environmental, development and policy practitioner with established expertise in complex policy areas including sustainable and resilient investments in the mining industry, Health, mineral and water resources sectors. Proven ability to deliver community projects that generate value for money, and balance social, environmental and technical considerations for multiple stakeholders including government, donors, investors, and local community structures. She majored in Environmental Economics in her master’s programme. She obtained skills and knowledge in the Economy of Mining, Project Appraisal & Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA), and Valuation of Environmental Amenities. Rose has mastered enough professional knowledge in Climate Change and Sustainable Development.
