I am a qualified Fitter & Turner (MEIETB Red Seal 26 January 1996) Since then I have been working in the mining industry with 23+ years’ experience in troubleshooting, fault finding and general maintenance on heavy industrial machinery. In 2009 I was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor in the Service Bay section at Kansanshi Mine, Solwezi, Zambia. I was appointed Engineering foreman at Tweefontein Opencast, Glencore Coal South Africa since 2013 until 2019 I started as Breakdown Foreman in 2013. In 2015 I was appointed Dragline Foreman and since 2018, Foreman at the drill section. I am self-motivated and hardworking; I take pride in my work and will not settle for second best. My work is my life. I can work unsupervised or as part of a team and know that with my knowledge, experience, skills and qualifications I will proof myself a great asset to a company.
