I am a third year full-time student who is studying towards a diploma in Business Management at Damelin college Port Elizabeth, started my studies in 2019 after completing matric the previous with a D which gained me access into a higher education facility to study a Diploma. Prior to studying at Damelin College I had aspirations of becoming a musician and a poet as I was very fond of such forms of art. I once considered studying music at Boston College even registered but, the fees were high and the way that the institute provided its tutoring was not something that I was satisfied with. I was raised by a single-parent (with my late grandma) who is a primary school teacher and the sole breadwinner at the house. So, it was a situation were Grandma would often assisted mother in paying the bills through her SASSA fund. In high school it took part in some several extra-mural activities and we would have a social period were we gathered as a group and share our thoughts, opinions regarding issues of faith sometimes a topic would be provided.
