I am currently a final year Bcom accounting student with one incomplete module due to be completed in October 2019. I have completed Financial Accounting 3, Taxation 3 and Managerial Accounting 3. I aim to gain experience in an accounting/finance environment and I'm dedicated and determined to learn and improve my capabilities by practice. Acquiring skills and improving my knowledge in a finance environment is very beneficial to me an due to my inexperience and my goal to gain skills by training and to grow within a company, I am willing to start at the bottom and work my way through. I am an organised individual whom does not like clutter and pays attention to detail. I aim to be accurate and effective in any given task and will apply those qualities to my work. Being empathic and understanding are characteristics that are important to me and I believe enables myself to work well with others in a team. I have no prior work experience in an accounting environment and a very basic knowledge of Pastel Accounting as I have done an assessment in 2015 as part of 2nd year accounting. However, given the opportunity I am certain that these skills amongst others will improve and advance.
