I was born and raised where my father had businesses in Graaff-Reinet and matriculated at Hoër Volkskool in 1983. I studied at Technicon Port Elizabeth and gained my National Higher Diploma in Building Construction. Married for 32 years with Sanita a Personal Assistant at Aton Wealth Management and have a daughter (26) years old, an accountant at MFI Accountants and son (22) an student at University of the Free State (3rd year Optometry). I love working with my hands like leatherwork, woodwork and gardening. I do not consume any alcohol. I very fond of sport and did participate in rugby, tennis, cricket, athletic and squash. My family come all ways first and like to spend time with them when ever it is possible. I am a very good cook and and like to experiment with food. I am very humble and is not afraid to ask for help when I am not sure about a thing. I am a hard worker and never step away from a challenge.
