Good Day My name is Norman Naidoo and I have 26 years’ experience in the FMCG industry. I have 12 years in middle/senior management and 22 years in the technical area. I have obtained the following qualifications Post Graduate Diploma in Management Development Principles, B-Tech in Operations Management, Diploma in Maintenance Management and National Diploma in Electrical Heavy Current. I have the necessary experience from roles as maintenance planner and controller. Also, I have been project leads in both projects and Capin on multiple projects. I have been certified in 6 Sigma Green Belt and have used and implemented the GEMS and TRACC in improving and sustaining machine reliability and uptime. I am also very experienced in improving plant OEE which is a critical driver in cost and productivity. Have been the driver in terms of ensuring that the plant and business unit have improved and sustained excellent results in the quality environment and also in the safety space. I have led teams in the implementation of standard work practices and operating procedures. I have gained and improved shop floor involvement and interaction with total people involvement and feedback. Also have mentored people that have progressed in the organization to be team leaders, unit managers, artisans and coaches for fellow colleagues. I am qualified assessor with the Food and Bev and have lead projects on shop floor empowerment in maintenance for machine and line reliability. Have a good knowledge on problem solving and re-engineering so problems have loop closures and performance is sustained. I have been project leads on numerous projects ranging from line upgrades, machine upgrades and installation of new lines. I have led projects on new product developments and introduction of new products. I also have strong analytical skills and good leadership skills that would complement me in my desired occupation.
