I have worked as a research assistant at Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation and was involved in data collection, cleaning, coding and analysis. Part of my other responsibilities included administrative work such study files management according to GCP guidelines, and these include the studies’ regulatory binder (study communication, delegation log, protocol, document version control etc.,), organising workshops as well as training youth researchers for a YPAR (Youth-led Participatory Action Research) project. During my career I have gained wide knowledge and understanding of data collection methodologies and principles as well as sound writing skills. I have acquired extensive knowledge on the execution of research including writing research proposals, literature reviews, writing manuscripts and using SPSS and http://www.******.*** through my 2 years Masters Research project and working as a research assistant. Through working as a part time monitor I have also gained extensive knowledge on information synthesis and report writing. I am eager to work in a more challenging environment, whilst contributing my knowledge and skills.
