I am currently doing my last year in college, in Journalism and Media Studies at Damelin College. I am a 22 year old goal driven, hard working and aspiring journalist. My biggest goal or interest, career wise is to be the voice for the voiceless. We live in times where the role of the media in distributing news to the people is very vital and is often put on the spot. Hence, good, ethical journalism and writing is my strongest point. I would love to work with some of the giant media outlets in South Africa such as Investigative Journalism Amabhungane, Daily Maverick, Check Point or Cutting Edge. This are different mediums that have brought into light the biggest stories that shone the light in accountability which our government has to take, giving voice to the voiceless and holding our government into account for the many fails ordinary people face.
