I am currently unemployed as I was retrenched., but worked as a SHEQ manager at Servest and I was responsible for ten (10) branches nationally, and two farms. My functions were, implementation of SHEQ system as well as the SHEQ Training (i.e. training of SHEQ induction, Risk Assessment, Safe Operating Procedure, Handling of Hazardous Chemical Substances, HIV/AIDS Awareness, Legal Liability), and I also attend SHE Committee Meetings with a view to Advise the committee on legal requirements. Furthermore, I am conducting risk assessments and come with control measures, do incident investigation, incident reports and submissions to COID. I carry out SHEQ Audits and emergency evacuation. I attend to client complaints and to non-conformances and put in place Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPA). I also advice the organisation on SHE regulations and legal compliance. I compile training matrix and competence matrix. I also schedule medicals for employees as per the legal requirements, I am a competent SHEQ Manager with the following qualifications: SAMTRAC, Diploma in Safety Management, HIRA, Legal Liability, HCS Awareness, Registered Assessor with HWSETA as well as Mining Qualification Authority, Operational Emergency Care Orderly, Basic Ambulance Assistance, Preliminary Certificate in Fire Technology, HIV/AIDS Peer Educator, TB Programme and DOT Supporter Training, OHS Legislation, Coaching and Mentoring , ISO 9001: 2015 Overview, ISO 9001: 2015 Implementation QMS Training Course, Regimental Instructors and Management Course, Structural Pest Control Course, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Computer Operations & Packages, and I am currently studying a NEBOSH International Diploma.
