I believe that I should be considered for the post, and also with a degree of confidence I believe I will make a success of the position because of the following: • My bachelor’s degree in Finance, majoring in Financial Accounting, Financial Management and Business Management and the knowledge I have gathered in the three modules I have passed for my honours degree in Financial Accounting. • My personal ability of being committed to my duties, work under pressure where I produce maximum outputs with minimum inputs. • The experience I am currently gathering as a Senior Administrator Material Supply at Anglo American Platinum Mine, whereby amongst others I buy material and services needed for operational area, receive invoices and pay, resolve supplier queries, Accrual listing and provisions, correction and adjustment during month end. • The knowledge I have gathered as an Assistant Admin/Finance Manager at The South African National Taxi Council (Limpopo) for 4 years & 8 months, whereby amongst others I prepared Financial Reports, Reconciled payments on Pastel Accounting System, prepare for Audit Queries, pay salaries on VIP System, pay invoices on Absa Cash Focus, pay TAX to SARS on SARS e-filing. • The knowledge I have gathered in the Finance Internship Programme I did with The Department of Rural Development and Land Reform whereby I acquired knowledge of BAS and Logis. • The Knowledge I have gathered through Absa Bank Learnership, Whereby I was doing almost everything from Teller, to Enquiry Clerk to Sales Consultant. • The knowledge I gathered as a Lecturer for Accounting at PC Training and Business College. • My communication and computer skills. • My organizational, coordination and presentation skills.
