I am a Christian with a strong moral code. I am persistent, goal- focused and determined to get the job done. I work well with others and I set a high standard for myself and my work and strive to always be at that standard. I like solving problems and learn quickly and am always looking for ways to improve myself and my work. I am highly resourceful and if I do not know something it only takes a little time before I learn about it. My last employment was from February 2017 - February 2019 at Eskom’s Matimba Power Station in Lephalale. I worked as a system engineer on two plants: coal handling plant and coal milling and fuel distribution plant, each for a year and reported to the boiler engineering manager. I was part of an interdisciplinary team with maintenance supervisors (mechanical, electrical and control and instrumentation), plant operators and safety and environment officers. My team and I were responsible for reliably keeping 67 coal handling conveyor belts and chutes operable on the coal handling side and kept 24 coal mills and their fuel distribution network running. After six months working with the milling plant, productivity had reached the top three in the Eskom fleet.
