I am a Medical Technologist , qualified in Clinical pathology. I have 3 years experience post qualification. As a clinpath Technologist I have experience in a wide range of departments, I also have PCR knowledge as I worked in a PCR lab recently doing Covid testing. I have good coordination with regards to workflow and managing good Turn around time for getting results out. Also to add I have differential competency which is an advantage in a heamotology setup. An advantage of my extensive moving around different labs, I’ve had the luxury to work on many instruments. With regards to quality assurance, I make it a habit that the instruments are running within the confinements of the quality management protocols, and as a result, I have enrolled myself in a higher education institution to study further Total quality management.
