I have been in Business Intelligence for 5 years. I enjoy analyzing data and building informative dashboards to assist the business in making data driven decision to increase profitability. This can be done by building a visual dashboard in QlikView or Power BI, which I have done. I have used SQL to import the data and build stored procedures. I am very experienced in QlikView, SQL and excel. I am still relatively a beginner in Power BI, with only 1 year's experience in Power BI. Most advanced in using Excel to do anything that is required from automating reports using VBA, adding conditional formatting and manipulating data in a way that is required. I am very skilled in Excel. I am also good at assisting businesses to by analysing raw data and finding trends and correlations between different variables. For example what was the impact of the increase in price on a certain product. For this scenario, I would look at value and volume growth and determine whether the company is better off or not. Also how did the customer base change for the price increase. I have also analysed customer retention and customer reviews and how strong do they correlate. Data can be a very powerful tool if converted to valuable information through very designed charts and metrics in different visualisation tools such as Power BI, QlikView or Excel.
