I grew up in a small town in the Eastern Cape called Bizana and I currently reside in Pietermaritzburg where I operate as a Nurse Clinician at Caluza clinic under Health Systems Trust (NGO). I have four years of experience in primary health care (PHC) started working in 2016 at Middledrift Health Canter. I also have experience work at Mdantsane Renal care unit for 6 months. I have a year of experience in mentorship I worked for Nelson Mandela University as an assistant lecturer from 2020 March- December 2020. I am a highly dedicated person, who thrives to empower and serve my community at all times. I spent four years at the Nelson Mandela University in order to achieve my Degree and honours in BCur studies. In this environment I learnt how to work with others, accepting each other’s differences (culturally, religious and values). I am also accustomed to working under fast-paced environments with pressure and critical thinking. As a father of a five year old son, my admiration is to be a better individual every day and therefore I remain focused and a lifelong leaner. By so doing I keep myself updated with the recent trends through the attendance of trainings such as (NIMART, ESMOE, STI, AYFS etc.). My other focus is empowering the community around me on means of improving their lives through Health education, career engagements and ways of dealing with Physical and substance abuse etc. In my search for development I enrolled myself at the Walter Sisulu University were I did my Computer Science studies which unfortunately were not completed due to financial constraints. However I use this challenge in improving my work space by assisting colleagues on the use of computers, administration work etc. as this is one of my passions.
