Miriam Maarman earned her Bachelor of arts degree in Social work at the University of Stellenbosch in 1996. She also earned a Bachelor Social Science (honours) specialising in Clincial Social work. at the University of Cape Town and qualified herself as a specialist in clinical social work in 2012. She further obtained a post graduate diploma in Addiction Care at the University of Stellenbosch at the end of 2014. She has extensive experience working in a clinical setting within the fields of Mental health and Addiction.
