I am a driven individual that sets clearly defined goals which I am passionate on exceeding. As such, I am enthusiastic about learning and building a foundation of knowledge that can be used for further understanding. While my education into financial markets has rewarded a more analytical and logical approach, I personally enjoy incorporating a creative element to all my work. I feel this has not only deepened my scope of understanding, but also, made me more adaptable to challenges. I enjoy collaborating within a team and learning from those around me. I’ve had a keen interest in the stock market since an early age, investing whatever savings I had at school in the JSE. As my interest in investments grew I started to read more about the subject, reading books from the successful investment greats such as Warren Buffet, Peter Lynch, and Benjamin Graham. Their value approach to investing makes sense to me. I feel this programme will give me the necessary exposure to the investment industry that can be used to grow my understanding. In doing so, I believe this knowledge can be passed on to the mutual benefit of myself, the company, as well as its’ clients.
