Thanks you for the opportunity to introduce myself. I have a Mechanical engineering T3, diploma, thus NQF6 level. From doing a Toolmaking trade with N6, to Sales and Project engineer, then to a Regional Sales and branch manager of the Eastern Cape, to now a self-employed entrepreneur in George, Western Cape. One of my main tasks n PE, was to set up maintenance contracts and schedules for the bigger waste handling companies. Many of them I did myself on the site if my staff was running on all cylinders and we had no personnel to fulfil this task. I believe in building strong teams. I have gained good experience in various fields such as the material handling industry, the poultry industry, the bottling industry and also the MSW handling industry. I would now want to “pay my experience forward” hence my love for teaching and mentoring at a college and also doing a facilitators course recently. I value integrity, honesty, respect, being on time, material things of others, and to be a mentor when needed for those who seek that. I am goal driven and will do what it takes to succeed. I have the drive to work and to achieve goals such as developing new markets and new businesses. During the years I got expose to the day to day running of a business and thus developing strong administrative skills. I am methodical and understand the value of small details, no matter if we are on a site or in the office busy with office admin. I am a DIY man that loves fly fishing and photography and making music.
