Role Purpose: Reporting to the Managing Director, the Plant Manager/ Head of Manufacturing purpose is to manage and coordinate Manufacturing (People, Plant, Process and Systems) in order to achieve the required standard of Manufacturing quality and output in the most efficient and profitable manner and also strategically is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of the Operations value chain at the Plant facilities. The Plant Manager - lead a multidisciplinary senior management team to achieve business plan objectives for safety, productivity, quality, costs, human resource capability development and cultural change whilst continually pursuing opportunities to improve business practices, processes and strategies. Implement World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices and implementation yields much-improved organizational stability for the Manufacturing Plants. WCM is well understood at Operator level and employees are fully engaged and empowered at all levels of the organization as clear roles and responsibilities are in place and clearly defined.
