I have seven years of experience in communication, from broadcasting to customer service, and I have spent the last 5 of those years in the Social/Digital Media space. I’m fluent in key social media platforms, with an emphasis on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. My exceptional written communication skills allow me to craft effective posts that inspire user engagement as well as customer care. I’m also comfortable with Agora Pulse, Lithium and Tweetdeck as social media tools and very quick to learn other social tools. I have experience managing a content schedule as well as analytics and reporting. I have a passion for social media because it’s an effective tool for connecting people (personally and professionally), and I’m an inherently social person. I have acquired most of the required skills for the position in other industries as well, I do believe that skills are transferable, and my current media experience will give me an advantage in the role.
