I am currently working as a Validation Engineer for HI Calibre Engineering. I would like to introduce myself to you as I believe I have the skills, qualifications, and experience necessary to make a significant contribution to your organization. I am a graduate of Nelson Mandela University and hold a bachelor’s degree in Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry and Microbiology) (2012-2015), complemented by an Honours degree in Chemistry (2016). I enrolled for a Master's in Chemistry (2017) at Nelson Mandela University, with a focus on host-guest chemistry. In May 2018 my MSc project was upgraded to a PhD by NMU’s PGSC board. My work contributed to the field of host-guest chemistry, and I have 10 peer reviewed publications in various chemical journals. I received good feedback from my supervisor and was also recognized as the 2019 SACI postgraduate of the year, which is awarded to 5 students per annum in South Africa. My current responsibilities include the commissioning and qualification of pharmaceutical systems and the preparation of validation documentation. I have executed work for Aspen Pharmacare, Roche Sequencing Solutions Cape Town, Fresenius Kabi Port Elizabeth, and GSK SA.
