Dear reader. Introducing myself, I am Lee-Ann Joy Rooza. A Single young 28year old women and mother too two gorgeous, lively children. Yes they are definitely my blessing. I grew up in Silvertown, Athlone, and currently still reside at my family home, with my parents and both my children. My girl is now 3 years old and my boy, been 9 years of age. Therefore, this is just a basic introduction as to who I am and who I stand for, and also allowing you, the reader of this to understand my current needs. So why am I mentioning all of this? Simply because, you, the reader of this letter, have the final say, as to whether I am going to be given the opportunity in getting the job. Yes we all approach life, and situations differently, even job applications as to the one in this case, for each and every person it is for an individual need, mine most definitely has become my kids. I realized this one day, when I looked at my children playing together and then it hit me, like seriously. I am for the rest of my life responsible for these two kids and that’s going to require money. I hope I have mentioned good enough reason as to how desperate I am to better myself firstly , so that I will be able to provide a good and comfortable life for myself and my children. Motivating the reasons of this letter, and the reasons why I urge you, reader to give me this chance, are not difficult at all as its all truth. This stage of my life where I am currently I realized and live by this: I am done trying to sell myself to employers or anyone else for that matter. This is who I am, these are my needs, my passions it is what it is, reality is I need a better paying job. After matriculating in 2008, I immediately started studying towards graduating as a paralegal. I studied at The SA School Of Paralegal Studies in Rondebosch. The course consists of 6 subjects, sadly I only completed 3 of them, as I had my 1st baby and my family decided not to fund the rest of my studies. Completed property law and conveyancing, passed it, debt collecting passed with 94% distinction and wills and admin of deceased estates passed, with 90% distinction. I plan to complete my studies. I then been a young mom had no choice hopped into my 1st job, call centre and basically call centre, customer service, admin and email correspondence is the skills and experience I have picked up on the way. In between I joined the children’s ministry at Silvertown Baptist Church, and worked along with the team as an assistant Sunday school teacher. We basically fed, and played games with kids in the area who needed some love an attention. I pride myself in quality work, I am willing to learn new skills and enjoy a challenge. Sometimes I tend to be a bit too hard on myself, everyone is telling me that lately, but I need to push myself acknowledge my mistakes so that I can learn and produce good work. I will, prove to be a good pick and will be looked at as an employee who brings their best to this company if given a chance. Please consider my application, I will really appreciate it. Not only will I strive to do and serve the company with my best, but this is a personal motivation as well. Being a youngsingle mother has definitely taught me lots of lessons. But the greatest one of all I would say is that women today, especially mothers we have a calling to do our best every day, not forgetting the reasons why we need to do so well. Again, I would treasure this opportunity if you would take my application into consideration. Thank you reader, Lee-Ann Rooza.
