With close to 20 years of experience in the fitness industry in various fitness roles from personal training, rugby coaching to managing his own fitness team and mentoring both new and experienced trainers, his experience bodes well when finding the fitness solution for his clients and trainers alike. A few years ago, Lee was diagnosed with an acute autoimmune disease, which would debilitate most but he has decided to remain positive and embrace it. Rather than focusing on what exercises and movements he couldn’t do, he focused on what he was able to do. This principle forms a large basis of Lee’s coaching philosophy: “Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can, then try your best to progress to the next level.” It is this experience that has strengthened Lee’s resolve to be an ambassador for movement and the enjoyment thereof. During the past 20 years, Lee’s love and passion for exercise has grown and evolved (and it continues to do so). He has excelled as a personal trainer, training many successful professional and semi-professional athletes (Stormers and Springbok rugby players, a motor cross champion and even an Epic Race winner, to mention a few). However, his forte is finding solutions for busy individuals who desire to be better versions of themselves. Not everyone has the genetic makeup to be a professional athlete but exercise is a fundamental key to unlocking one’s potential, whether on the playing field or the boardroom. Lee truly lives the Joy of Movement brand and he invites you to join him in the celebration.
