Recently we just launched our new vibrant website which is in line with our new corporate identity. Working on this agile project, I had to create quite a large number of new content for our existing products and services in a way that is conversational and simple to understand. We had to write content for desktop and mobile. Currently working on our other African websites which are Malawi and Zimbabwe. On the project, I had the opportunity to collaborate with UX/UI, Publishers, Developers and work closely with our BA. I have been at Old Mutual since 2016, here I have learned how to write for financial services and come to understand our customers. From time to time I would do some copywriting for social media and write articles for our “Customer Needs” pages. When I first arrived I had to step up and manage our sponsorship website for a colleague that was going on maternity leave. I had an opportunity to create newsletters using Mailchimp. In 2017, I would create pages for our marketing campaigns such as Budget Speech, EasiPlus, FutureInvest Plans, and Retirement Annuities. I have also invested my time in learning new things and up-skilling, therefore, I have a certificate in Digital Marketing and SEO.
