My name is Kelly-Jo Wasserfall. I am 32 years old and a current postgraduate student, 2nd year for a Masters: Food Science and Technology. I currently do not attend any classes, but I have been appointed as an administrative assistant and tutor (Food Microbiology) to my department. I reside on the CPUT Bellville campus and have my own reliable transport. I believe I am suited for this position as my years of working experience as a trainee has taught me many aspects of being a food technologist whether in a production faculty or in a corporate environment. My goals are to attain my Masters of Food Science and Technology in 2022 and further my passion in food safety and quality by discovering and developing solutions that challenge food producers in South Africa. I aspire to be an expert in this field and to be part of the generation that revolutionizes the way South Africa understands food safety and quality and the importance thereof.
