I am a professional registered Electronic Engineer (registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa since 2016) and hold a degree in BSc Electronic Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. As an individual who is interested in continuous professional development, I have dedicated more than 12 years of experience to working within the electronic engineering industry. This has resulted in professional competency in a range of specialized electronic equipment and systems in both the multi-disciplinary Engineering Railway and Toll Road environments. I have a range of experience in project management, contract management, specification design, technical research, tender adjudication and the installation, implementation, testing, verification and maintenance of specialised electronic and communication systems to meet specific requirements in both the freight rail and toll system environment. My role has provided opportunity for specification design and technical research and development of specialized electronic systems. This, in turn, has enabled me to successfully develop, deploy, optimize and maintain fit-for-purpose designs using innovative technologies and methodologies. I have successfully managed and executed a number of projects in the railway, toll system, electronics and telecommunications environment, which has honed my project management, time management and multitasking skills.
