I moved from Cape Town to Bloemfontein at the age of twelve (12) and completed my matric at Hoerskool Sentraal in 2009. While in high school, I achieved provincial colours in multiple sporting codes and served on the school’s Student Representative Council (SRC) as a prefect in Grade 12. In 2010 I moved to Cape Town and pursued studies in Sports Science at the University of Stellenbosch. The following year I moved back to Bloemfontein and started studying at the University of the Free State. During my time at UFS, I played for the Cheetahs junior teams as well as the Shimlas rugby team. Achieving many personal and team goals, I continued with my studies and registered for a National Diploma in Human Resources at the Central University of Technology in 2016. I continued to play Varsity Cup rugby for two years while also having a steady job in retail. Having a real passion for sports and skills development, I moved into coaching and have registered and opened a coaching academy in Bloemfontein. I have worked in a various fields from retail and sales to marketing and sports coaching. In each of these jobs, I learned important skills and general high work ethic. I was able to adapt to changing environments and worked really well within a team dynamic. I also set personal and team goals that were regularly achieved. I play a big part in conflict resolution and boosting morale because of my extrovert nature and hands-on approach.
