Essential Functions: • Conduct quality checks and sampling on pumps, outwork and other equipment to ensure quality awareness • Coordinate the warranty process from initiation to partial completion not including signoff. • Accept or Reject finished items from suppliers • Monitor operations to ensure that they meet product standard • Recommend adjustments to the assembly process • Inspect test or measure materials being produced • Measure products using rulers, callipers, gauges or micrometres. • Report inspection and test data • Document inspection results by completing reports & logs, summarizing rework and waste, inputting data into quality database. • Keep measurement equipment operational by following operation instruction, calling for repairs. • Conduct supplier visits for goods inspection off-site. • Assist with internal Quality and Safety Audits. • Assist with incident and accident investigation • Assist the SHEQ Manager with the closeout of relevant audit findings during inspections or Audits to determine the root cause. • Assist with IA certification on flame proof pumps Minimum Qualifications: • 7 Years’ experience in Quality and Safety • Computer literate • Speak and write English • Qualified Fitter and Turner
