I started as a locum in 2015 at Induscare, I worked on the mobile clinic doing screenings eg. Audios, Spiros, Keystones, Yearly Medicals and Primary Healthcare. I’ve also done various companies under Induscare and Life Healthcare. I’m currently working on a fixed contract for Life Healthcare at Makro and Protea Chemicals, running the onsite clinics. Duties are as follows- Monthly reports. Hygiene checks, Inspections and Risk Surveys, First aid boxes replenishment, First aid meetings, Ordering of stock, Site Audits, Family Planning, Yearly Medicals, Medical Surveillance, Pregnancy Registers, Control of medical waste, Flu Vaccines, Health Risk Assessments, Ablution And Canteen Checks, Primary Healthcare, Monitoring of Chronic, Dispensing, First Aid Training, Teachings, Counseling and referrals to out-site clinics, GP’s, Hospitals or Outreach Programs.
