I have 20 years of experience in the finance sector and I have found my passion is working with numbers. People ask me why I chose this line of work and simply put numbers do not lie. Every challenge of working within a financial department is one I embrace (yes, with a strong coffee) and I find immense satisfaction when I am able to balance the general ledger and T.B. I have worked with dozens of software packages (many self-taught) and I pride myself on being a mentor and a student at the same time. I have a National Diploma in Managing Customer Services, a Certificate in Basic Bookkeeping and a Masters Diploma in T.E.F.L. I have received a number of awards and certificates of achievement through the years. I know how to meet deadlines (calendars are powerful) and I understand how accountants work and what the requirements are with Year-end audits and month-end reporting. Debtors and Creditors are key components in any organization and having monitored expenditure accounts and up to a dozen local and international bank accounts I believe the balancing act of prioritizing responsibilities is something I have achieved.
