My career spans over a decade in various newsrooms. I have worked as a newspaper journalist, a radio news producer and reporter and a television news bulletin editor. I have a B.A. communications degree and have acted as a guest lecturer in many instances. I am more than willing to further my studies should you require me to do so. I consider myself a language, subbing and writing and a news and current affairs expert with exceptional communication skills. I am especially strong at spoken and written English and Afrikaans. My experience in a television news room has given me valuable experience of television and production workflow. I am a quick study and more than willing to get in-house or other training.
