After working with the elderly for 17 years, I am ready for a new challenge and look forward to experience and learn something new. I’ve resigned from Langverwag at the end of July 2019 and moved to Somerset West. I am independent, motivated and approach any position offered to me with enthusiasm. Although I excel at working independently, I find it easy to adapt and work well as a member of a team. I enjoy sharing ideas and responsibilities with colleagues and motivating fellow employees, always encouraging and supporting collaboration and working for the common good of all. I embrace change and love new challenges, which has always been a strong motivator for me. At my previous positions I have gained valuable knowledge by working and interacting with people, which I believe will be to my benefit in any management or other suitable position – as well as to the benefit of the employer. I have also gained a lot of experience as a secretary, as I’ve been the Personal Assistant for the Manager of Land & Agricultural Bank in Bethlehem for 6 years, worked as a School Secretary at Graanveld Primary School in Bethlehem for 4 years, as well as being a Secretary at Charlotte Theron Kinderhuis in Bethlehem for 2 years, before being promoted to Financial Manager. I love organizing the office and work well under pressure. I have excellent typing, organizational, administrative and people skills, as well as above average accounting skills. I have gained these skills through many years of practical experience being responsible for budgets, EMP- and VAT-returns and a variety of other financial duties. I am flexible, love multi-tasking, organizing the office and work well under pressure. My hobbies include reading, mountain biking, hiking, foreign languages, art and entertainment.
